WMEV AM began broadcasting from Radio Hill in Marion on December 12, 1948 at 1010 on the AM dial. 

WMEV is dedicated to bringing you the best Gospel Music on AM 1010, and  on 101.1 FM.  

WMEV is Southwest Virginia's Solid Gospel radio station playing Solid Gospel music 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, featuring a southern gospel music mixture combining the latest gospel releases, hits on the charts and classics from your favorite gospel groups.  

The Gaither Homecoming can be  heard at 1:00PM on Saturday and Sunday, hosted by Bill Gaither, features gospel artists with interviews and music.  

Into The Blue

INTO THE BLUE features the very best in new, current and vintage bluegrass, as well as insightful anecdotes and interviews with the stars.

INTO THE BLUE can be heard on FM 101.1 and AM 1010 on Saturday mornings from 10am until 12noon.
